Orchestra New England's 1981 Colonial Concert

Orchestra New England will stream our second Colonial Concert, then called "An Olde New England Concert," on Saturday, November 28th at 7:30 - it will be available on demand until December 6th. This concert was video-taped by a professional camera crew, sponsored by Southern New England Telephone, and shown nationally on PBS. The video is hosted by the ghost of Daniel Read (acted by James Higgins), a Music Minister at United Church on the Green back in the 1780s, who is somewhat distressed by this new conductor Sinclair. But, as the concert progresses, Read gradually gives his approval. Enjoy a New Haven holiday tradition online!
